MX is a concept company I created that aims to tackle the issues surrounding periods. Period products and packaging are way too feminized. With MX, I want to bring to light why this is a problem. I designed a brand and packaging meant to be a neutral option, Mx being the gender-neutral term for Mr or Mrs. Women are not the only people who experience periods and most companies ignore that. MX embraces this fact and moves away from the flashy feminine product design tropes. For a person who is not the most comfortable carrying around a box of tampons as they shop, MX packaging is discreet.
